Event Information

Description:

Feed costs account for approximately 60% of the cost to produce milk, making by-product and forage feeding strategies top priorities for the dairy industry. Dr. Ed DePeters and Jennifer Heguy will present information on recent almond hull work, including quality violations and current feeding practices. Dr. Dan Putnam will discuss reduced lignin alfalfa and the impacts of harvest schedule and variety on yield and quality.
